Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Half English and a quarter Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descent. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. Her birthplace was in a clan with six kids. Four are her siblings who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's dad. The family lived in Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria neighborhood in London. Taylor-Joy believes that moving in London was stressful and that she was unable to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands and then Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. At the age of 16, she decided to leave school in order to follow a full-time career path in acting. As a child, Taylor-Joy had a dream to work as an actress. her goals were realized when she was offered modeling work by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
